California has been trying to fill its reservoirs for five years, and it will get a little help from a storm expected to hit Friday. Lake Shasta and Lake Oroville, as well as other reservoirs across the state, are still below average. But the storm isn't expected to do anything for the state's snowpack, with just an inch forecasted to fall in the Sierra.
