6th water main ruptures in Los Angeles area

A sixth water main break in less than a week has hit Los Angeles, with the latest rupture in the Cathay Square area. Crews at the scene were pushed back due to the compromised stability of the ground. (KTLA Los Angeles)

Nestle Waters North America has dropped plans for a bottling plant in McCloud, a spokesman said Thursday. The company instead has decided to operate a new water-bottling plant in Sacramento. (Redding Record-Searchlight)
