 Certification Exam Prep Online Courses for Water, Wastewater and Distribution Operators
American Water College is offering several courses, each designed to the Association of Boards Certification specifications. Discounts are offered to agencies that enroll multiple students.
Water Distribution and Treatment Operator Test Prep Classes
The California Department of Public Health will offer classes to help students prepare for taking their operator certification exams. Class size is limited, so register early.
Water Conservation Certification Program
CA-NV AWWA is partnering with the Association of Boards of Certification in a survey of certified backflow prevention assembly testers.
Intro to Groundwater and Watershed Hydrology
This shortcourse will review the fundamental principles of groundwater and watershed hydrology, water quality, and water contamination. The course is geared towards a broad audience that is involved in the management, assessment, and protection of water resources, either professionally, as an educator, as a stakeholder, or otherwise.
SSO-WDR Complicance Workshops
With the State gearing up for enforcement, you don't want to be caught out of compliance. CWEA is offering two SSO-WDR compliance workshops throughout California. Each workshop will give you up to 7 CWEA Contact Hours in Collection Systems and includes morning coffee and lunch.

These online CSU Sacramento courses include lessons, readings, video clips, animated illustrations, student exercises and exams. The readings, student exercises and video clips are contained on a companion CD that integrates with online materials. If you prefer reading from a printed book, the appropriate training manuals may be purchased.
Trench Safety Awareness
This Web-based training exercise from the CDC contains material on conducting a safe trenching operation. Topics include the four types of trench collapse, the frequency and cost of trench collapses, trench soil types, and common trench protective systems.
